Flow Products International has extensive experience in the support of manufacturing operations to manufacture, supply and install hydraulic system components during the build cycle. FPI can acquire the required hydraulic system components, manufacture hoses, bend tubing, install fixtures, fit pumps, install valves, attach filtration, and fit reservoirs.

All manufactured hoses and lines are pigged and cleaned prior to attaching the needed ends. Hoses and tube circuits are pressure tested, documented, and tagged with a physical marking or an RFID chip that can be used to positively identify a component and schedule maintenance cycles and records..

When the system is completed, FPI can flush the entire hydraulic system with the proper agents to assure passivation and cleanliness prior to filling with the needed fluids.

FPI can continue the process to achieve the goals needed to commission the fluid power system and assure it is leak free and ready to perform.

Below is an example of the underside of the back porch on a new generation land drilling rig built in 2009. Flow Products manufactured all the hose and tubing necessary to completed thirteen of these rigs in six months.

At this point it would prudent for our clients to examine the F.I.V.E. Program offered by FPI. This program is a comprehensive plan to build quality and reliability into the fluid power system for better performance with less downtime. This program offers a way to inventory the hydraulic system, monitor fluid integrity, and maintain the system in such a way as to sustain the fluid power system throughout the life cycle with improved maintenance policies, sustained clean fluid, and systematic inspections. This would be an excellent time to add the F.I.V.E. value for future maintenance.
